Sleeping Souls is or was a Dream World, it once use to just disappear when no one was sleeping, but something about the cystoff ore in the Waking World, {The psionic resonance of the aliens who used to live on Stavromula Beta} and the imagination of humanity gave true life to the world. Now almost everyone at the Red Base dreams of this world when they sleep, most becoming something different than what they normally are. There ARE people who don't dream in the Waking World and there ARE people who exist entirely within the dream world making it a reality and no longer just a dream.
Sleeping Souls is a small city called Whitemarsh run by a corrupt Duke. It's illegal to leave or enter after dark because the Evershifting Woods to the south of the city are filled with evil ware-creatures and the Duke has to protect the people from their contagion. However, You can come and go freely during the day. The people of this city are less than civilized in the way they act. If you can find yourself a group then you will have a moderate safety net, so long as you follow the Dukes laws and be careful who you piss off.
The Rose Fox GuildHalll is a mix of different thieves with different motives, it is hard to say weather these thieves are good or evil or even neutral. It has all kinds with there own motives, though no one should go against the leader of the guildhall.
The dragon caverns are an ENORMOUS deep dungeon system. You could explore them for years and not find all the nasty traps, glorious treasures and ghastly beasts inside.
The Evershifting Woods are eerie to say the least, the rumors alone make it more then just frightening to journey here, though some brave people take the chances. What happens in the woods is a mystery only know by those who have entered.
The Croplands are the most peaceful part of Whitemarsh, Farmers and there families general keep to themselves but on the most part are humble and welcoming to travelers, of course there are always acceptations to every situation
Sherrif's Office and Gaol – looking for work is the only reason you want to come to the Sherrif’s office, being jailed here is not something anyone would want, treatment of prisoners is harsh to say the least, tread carefully or you may just wind up in the Gaol and in the Sherrif’s bad books.
Temple of Kwan Yin is a place of faith and healing.
The Red Squirrel Inn isn’t a place for the shy or faint of heart, it is a place general filled with arrogant drunks and perverted men, the bar maids are less than proper and the bar tenders could care less about the way people act so long as they keep getting the money for there services. Coming here as a female ensures being treated inappropriately, coming here as a man guarantees challenges in some form from other men.
